DMD Dental was born from a belief in the body’s inherent abilities. An idea that the human system is superior in its purest form. A thought that we cannot improve upon the original body, but preserving its’ form and function, is the most beneficial for the patient.
We focus on education, identification, and prevention. DMD Dental takes a wholistic view and provides individual care for each unique individual.
We believe by incorporating integrative care into dentistry we can improve our patients’ overall health and treatment outcomes.
Dr. Du Mond is a graduate of Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona. She loves dentistry as she knows she can improve her patient’s oral and systemic health by demystifying oral care and disease. Dr. Du Mond is a third-generation dentist striving to help her patients learn more about the many ways they can benefit from an integrative approach to dentistry. She looks forward to offering a new way of experiencing oral health care in Scottsdale.
Dr. Du Mond has two incredible children, who provide constant amazement and anecdotes, and a wonderful husband. They enjoy being active, travelling and eating great food. Additionally, she previously had a finance career.
Upon graduation, Dr. Du Mond was invited to join Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honors Society, Beta Delta Chapter. She is laser certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry, earned a certification in Botulinum Toxin and Dermal fillers from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) along with the Advanced Botulinum Toxin training. She has learned from Oral Facial Pain specialist, Dr. Joseph Cohen, Trigger Point Injection training and Dr. Richard Miron, DDS, MSc, PhD Platelet Rich Fibrin courses. Dr. Du Mond is a member of the AGD, ADA, AzDA, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and the Integrative Dental Medicine Scholar Society Study Club (IDMSSS). She has taken courses from the acclaimed Spear Education Institute and continues to further her education.
