Every few months, you’ll change your trays for the next phase of your treatment until you reach the final set. It can take 1-2 years to complete this process.
The Orthodontic Aligners Process and Beyond
Special care steps are required to get the best results from your orthodontic aligner treatment. This includes rinsing and washing the aligners regularly, removing them only when you eat or drink, brushing your teeth after every meal, and avoiding staining the aligners. Dr. Du Mond will check in regularly to assess your progress and ensure your teeth are shifting as they should. Once you’ve reached your ideal smile, she may recommend wearing your trays at night in order to maintain your results.
